New Playground Becomes "Lost at Sea"
It only took seven years, but we finally broke down and bought a new swing set. Okay, so it's not exactly new, but it's new to us.
Used or not, the thing better last, because it's roughly the same square footage as our house, so we do not want to have to ever replace.
The great thing about it is, the kids can't stop playing outside now. In fact their latest game is to play "lost at sea". If they have to leave the "ship" they have to use a Capri Sun pouch and straw as a breathing apparatus.
It's very funny to watch.
You may notice Amelia has a leaf on her shirt, which I'm told is a badge and each of the kids wear one.
Of course Amelia appointed herself a captain of the ship and Macie has to hold the map, which she does very well. Sam is in the back checking on the "goldfish", which is actually Jack, our guinea pig. He was apparently rescued from an imminent shark attack
